Maternity
Pregnancy can feel like it lasts forever while you’re living it, but once your baby arrives, this stage suddenly feels incredibly short. A maternity photoshoot gives you something to look back on and remember how you looked, how you felt and what life was like while you were waiting to meet them. One day, your baby will be here and this stage will already feel far away. These photographs give you a way to hold onto what it felt like before you finally met them.

Best locations in Malta
Studio sessions suit couples who want a timeless, distraction-free look. For outdoor sessions, Malta's coastline at golden hour — Golden Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa and the quieter stretches of the south — gives warm, soft light, while gardens and countryside near Mdina offer greenery and shade in the warmer months.
How it works
Get in touch around your second trimester so we can choose a date that suits how you're feeling — around 30–34 weeks is the sweet spot. We'll talk through outfits and location, keep the session relaxed, and deliver your gallery within a couple of weeks.
FAQ
Maternity — common questions
When is the best time for a maternity shoot?+
Between 28 and 36 weeks, with around 30–34 weeks the sweet spot. The bump is clearly visible but you're usually still comfortable enough to enjoy the session.
Can my partner and children be in the photos?+
Absolutely. Most maternity sessions include a mix of solo portraits and family images, and older children are very welcome.
Studio or outdoors?+
Studio gives a timeless, controlled look and is reliable year-round. Outdoor sessions at golden hour give warmer, softer light. Both work beautifully — it comes down to the feel you want.
